“Second, the American Government can’t really help the economy.”
Energy is the mother of the economy. The solution for our economic problems is the same one that took us out of the famines of the past and into the industrial revolution.
Far too often, the power generating capacity needed to create wealth is less than the capacity needed to sustain it. By our nature, we have allowed this to happen so that today’s generations and tomorrow’s generations end up paying for it by hard work.
2) We need to STOP SUBSIDIZING ON HEALTH CARE SPENDING. Instead we should SUBSIDIZE INCREASES IN HEALTH CARE CAPACITY. CAPACITY… Why? So that there will be more VOLUME of health care for the energy we already have. But keep in mind this will not solve the entire problem. The more energy we have (AFFLUENCE), the more and better energy flow we will need to sustain ourselves. We need SUSTAINABLE HEALTHCARE through SUSTAINABLE ENERGY.
How to solve the health care “crisis”:
SOLVE THE ENERGY CRISIS FIRST!

Ummm… I’m pretty young. I’ve been a conservative since High School. In fact my government teacher almost flunked me because I was a Conservative (talk about keeping politics out of that class)
All I’m saying is don’t support the quick fix. Quick fixes have a tendency of causing bigger problems. Sure, free Health insurance for 14 million now, for years of government debt later. Who suffers when the government has to pay off that debt? The American people as a whole
fannie/freddie happened before his term started. we can argue about that, but i really don’t want to. it’s always this cat and mouse game of blame between liberal and conservative views. we’re all screwed and i’m glad to say i’m over it. i use to think the youth was ignorant for not caring about politics, but now i can see why the youth does not care.

The truth of the matter is we don’t have a choice in any government spending. 80% of the American population was against the stimulus bill
Look at California, that is how Washington treats people “This failed because the American population wont do what we say.” when it is the government which is suppose to do what we tell them to do
First of all, the stimulus should have gone tot he American people no the companies. Companies fail for a reason lots of big companies from the 30-40 are not around anymore for a reason
Second, the American Government can’t really help the economy. To do that the Government needs to hurt Consumers and Industry to help them increase their spending power, or weaken the value of the dollar and increase the national debt
If Obama fails it is because of his MASSIVE spending agenda right now
i mean we have no control over the war spending.
fair enough. you’re right. it’s a lot of money but so is these wars and we control over that. i want obama to succeed but not in spending so much. i feel that the stimulus budget was inevitable but i do believe there are other ways of doing this.
at this point, any type of plan that obama has would be nice since we spend like crazy anyways, democratic and republican. it really doesn’t matter because we are just cattle to them.
Want to help? Start a insurance company for to insure the 64 mil. Get donations and things. Limit the pay people working for the company can get so most of the money goes to people who need the help

you’re right. there is a problem with the obama plan that doesn’t seem like a good idea. i feel for wishyoucared. she is stuck between a rock and a hard place. it’s bad all around. i’m starting to believe the only thing to do is hope for best. too bad we the people aren’t organized. we have the power to fix things for our future, but we are too divided for any real change. we’re just cattle for the money makers.
14 mil will get insurance under Obamacare

I know how you feel. My car now needs over 1,000 in repairs. I have a hard choice which is getting a new one, fixing up my old one, or repairing this one (I have one that was in a accident and needs about the same amount in repairs, but has a better engine)

thank you for looking into it trmerc. i still feel it’s not as easy as it looks. it comes down to: minority or not, there’s this problem that people with no insurance have. the problem is not being able to afford it.
the cost of living makes it hard for a lot of people. it’s like we are treading water and slowly sinking. not everyone can swim as good as you.
all these insurance companies aren’t giving in either. well, maybe a little now that it’s a big issue front and center.

with underwriting if they accept your conditions I’m guessing possibly a 150%-200% increase in premium. The insurer is Blue Cross Blue Shield Smart Sense with Generic Rx

I am a 43 yr old non-smoker. I only earn about $1000 a month; sometimes a little more and sometimes less. My mortgage is $441. my lights $120. car insurance is 95. phones and internet-required for my job are 120. This and gasoline (I love 40 miles from job)are my only bills. I drive a 12 year old vehicle, and have no tv. I do buy shampoo and tp.
OK NOW actually find out for me IF they will cover me and cover my conditions. Find out the REAL cost and coverage & get back to me.
I did. My aunt who passed away left behind huge medical bills, and those bills were decreased because of health insurance, if she hadn’t had health insurance she would have passed away sooner cause of the expense
My uncle that passed was kept a full time employee while in a coma to keep him on the company’s health insurance
hey trmerc, you have to admit. there is a problem with health care. it really is debilitating to many of us.
i won’t complain anymore because i don’t have it as bad as wishyoucared, but you should try to see the situation in his/her view.
If you live in my area… I found insurance starting at a base cost of 87.19 a month, though the deductible is crappy 10k
Step up is 102 a month for a 5k deductible
For a great deductible of 1,250 I found 162.11 a month from Blue Cross Blue Shield
These are before underwriting BTW so the premiums will increase for the 2 conditions… possibly doubling them, and these are non-smoker rates (I find the savings with insurance for not smoking to be worth not being cool)
